These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the pave-vent.com website and the PaveVent™ Mobile Application (collectively referred to as the “Platform”), operated by SDB Enterprises Essex Ltd. By accessing and using this Platform, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Purpose of the Platform

The primary purpose of this Platform is to provide information regarding the PaveVent™ pothole relief device, its academic and physical validation, and to facilitate enquiries and data logging for our evidence-based pilot programmes. We do not sell products directly through this Platform, and submitting a “Request Pilot Briefing Pack” form does not constitute a binding commercial contract.

3. Intellectual Property and Patents

All content published and made available on this Platform is the property of SDB Enterprises Essex Ltd and its creators. This includes, but is not limited to, images, text, logos, documents, downloadable PDFs (such as the Ulster University and University of Nottingham test reports), 3D renders, and the PaveVent™ trademark.

The PaveVent™ device mechanism and its application are protected by an active Provisional Patent Application, currently progressing toward full UK and US Patent protection. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or otherwise use any of the content, testing data, or patent illustrations found on this Platform for commercial purposes without our express written consent.

4. Accuracy of Information

While we strive to ensure that the information on this Platform is accurate and up to date, including technical data, test results, and potential whole-life cost savings, this information is provided for general informational purposes only. We do not warrant the completeness, reliability, or absolute accuracy of this information. The economic and durability figures provided are based on our physical testing and economic modelling, but real-world results may vary depending on installation conditions, traffic loads, and existing carriageway states.

Our Platform contains links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by SDB Enterprises Essex Ltd (such as our embedded YouTube demonstration videos). We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

SDB Enterprises Essex Ltd and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses including legal fees from your use of the Platform or reliance on the information provided herein. This includes, but is not limited to, any operational delays, data loss, or technical issues resulting from mobile application downtime, device failure, or lack of cellular connectivity in the field.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

8. Mobile Application Usage

• Authorized Use: The PaveVent™ Mobile Application is intended strictly for authorized personnel, contractors, and council representatives participating in, installing, or managing PaveVent pilot schemes.

• Data Accuracy: By using the application to log pilot sites, repairs, and inspections, you agree that all submitted information, including text entries, site conditions, measurements, and timestamps, is accurate, truthful, and representative of the physical site to the best of your knowledge.

• Device Permissions and Privacy: To function correctly, the application requires access to certain device features. This includes the device camera (for capturing mandatory ‘Before’, ‘Completed’, and inspection compliance photos) and GPS/location services (to generate accurate What3Words location coordinates). By using the application, you consent to these required permissions and the collection of this operational data.

• Account Security: Authorized users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their individual login credentials. You must not share your account access, password, or device pin with unauthorized third parties.
